Jasper Jones was a thief and a liar. Or so thirteen year old Charlie Bucktin was told. but despite all of the warnings Charlie still followed him to his secret grove late one summer night where he discovered something horrible, a girl named Laura Wishart hanging dead from a tree. Jasper swears that he did not kill her and enlists Charlie to help him find who did. But the deeper the boys dig the more dangerous things become. the boys soon realize that everything is not as it seems and find that Laura's murderer is last person that anyone would suspect. Ages 12 and up ( rated PG-13 for strong language).
