Steffy and her sister lived with their Aunt Gina most of their lives. Their mom was in a car accident and had brain damage, and their dad ran away. One day their dad came back to take care of them. Their dad did not get along with them, and Steffy and her sister missed their aunt. Steffy really likes cooking. She tries to cook old recipes of her mom's to help her mom remember. She decides to be in a cooking contest and wins second place. In the back of the book are a lot of recipes she cooked for her mom. I would recommend this cook especially for kids who like to cook.
