In her mind she thinks that if she isn't touched her parents will get back together. So starts Caddie at a new school for the arts where she meets an old friend and makes a number of new ones. When she is cast for Ophelia in the school play, opposite of Peter she really begins to fall apart. The book was fascinating, as it deals with severe anxiety disorders.
